The holidays are just around the corner. We are stocked up on tons of holiday items, Santa, snowmen, ornaments,and Judaica. And don't forget, almost any of our functional items can be turned into a holiday theme. We have tons of supplies to help you with the process and our knowledgeable staff can guide you as well.
New Party Packages! And great community and school programs! Check out our new party packages! We are offering some great kids packages, and a new Pirate and Princess party option. We are also offering a great new package to meet the needs of our teen and tween customers. This package allows for additional time and more age specific items. Is your school looking for a unique after school enrichment program? We work with several elementary schools in our area teaching a variety of classes after school. Looking for a unique family event for your school or organization? We do many large scale to-go events at locations outside of our studio. Groups as large as 150 people can be done in one session. Many local schools are introducing family painting nights. It's a popular and fun event that allows for some much needed family time while having fun! So how does our studio work...
We charge a studio fee of $6 for kids 12 and under, and $9 for adults. This fee is good for the day and covers unlimited use of supplies and firing. Plus the cost of each item you paint. Pottery ranges in price from about $8.00 to $50.00. All of our pottery is then hand dipped in a clear glaze to make sure it's food safe. Are items are ready for pick up in about 7-10 days. We always give you a call when your items are completed.
Why does it take 7-10 days? Well, once you paint it, we let it dry for 24 hours, then it gets hand dipped into glaze, and dries for another 24 hours. We then hand load each item into one of our 4 kilns, and fire them up! Our pottery reaches a temperature of 1800 degrees! This whole firing process takes about 2 days to complete. Then the item must be ground down on the bottom to remove any firing marks, wrapped up and returned back to you!
So your artwork really is one of a kind, and hand made!

EFFECTIVE 11/18/08 To all of our customers, we are no longer taking reservations for weekend hours. We have found that our volume of customers has grown tremendously over these four years of business. We are so grateful for your continued support of our studio! However we want to be able to serve as many people as possible. We have found that so often we have no-shows or late guests arriving it makes it difficult for us to help everyone effectively. Our number one goal is great customer service and creative fun! Most of you who are frequent painters of our studio know our staff and our studio well, and our job is to make sure that you have a great experience every time! We also know that many of our customers have busy lives. So we are STILL accepting reservations during the weekdays. Monday through Thursday you can schedule a time for guaranteed seating. Fridays we will take reservations up to 5:00pm. This will allow for our guests to be able to schedule guaranteed seating, with virtually no wait. (okay..okay...sometimes during the holidays it could be 5 or 10 minutes!)
No worries if you have a reservation scheduled already, we are holding a spot for you. Also if you are a large group of 5 PAINTERS or more please do call us; we will make arrangements for you to paint.
We will still continue to provide a waitlist on weekends, but by us limiting the in studio reservations on weekends this will allow for a significant improvement on our turn over of seating, thus making our wait time a lot less.
Again, we truly appreciate your business; our customers make our studio a better place! There is no greater feeling than seeing a young child so excited to paint, or a newbie first time customer discovering our studio and create a real work of art. We truly appreciate each and every one of you!
